One answer, four identities

Cloudflare observes the request. IPBot resolves operator, route, registration, and connection evidence. The page keeps each identity separate instead of calling every organization an ISP.

The server must receive a public IP to answer the question. The application does not create a user account or a persistent lookup history, and the private IPBot key never reaches the browser.

What the service receives

Like every website, the service receives the public IP address used to make the request. Cloudflare also provides coarse routing and network context needed to serve and protect the site.

How a lookup is processed

The Worker sends the requested public IP to IPBot from the server side to retrieve normalized network intelligence. The IPBot credential is stored as an encrypted Worker secret and is never sent to your browser.

Caching and retention

Normalized network records may be cached at Cloudflare's edge for up to 24 hours, or one hour for volatile or higher-risk classifications. The application does not create accounts or a persistent user lookup history. Cloudflare and infrastructure providers may process operational request data under their own service and security practices.

Analytics, advertising, and sale of data

The initial service contains no third-party analytics tag, advertising script, map tile, remote font, or browser fingerprinting library. The service does not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can leave the site without creating an account. Manual lookups accept only a public IPv4 or IPv6 literal and are not placed in a shareable page URL.

Informational network estimate

Results are based on public routing, registration, geolocation, and classification data. They identify the network visible to websites and may not identify the company on a user's bill, physical device location, or the person using an address.

Permitted use

You may use the public interface for ordinary personal and professional network checks. Do not automate around rate limits, interfere with the service, probe private infrastructure, or use results as the sole basis for denying a person access, credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another high-impact opportunity.

No warranty

The service is provided as available. Network allocations, routes, VPN exits, carrier gateways, and geolocation estimates change. Verify critical decisions with the relevant network operator or registry.

Availability and changes

Features, data sources, limits, and these terms may change as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
